National Public Radio Music Day

LIVE. LOCAL. ESSENTIAL.

We’re cutting through all the noise and the endless scroll to remind you we’re here for the pure love of the local sound.

We don’t chase algorithms, we don’t follow trending charts, and we sure don’t care about going viral. We’re just a crew of locals who share tunes and tales because it feels real, not because it streams big. This October 29th is Public Radio Music Day, a celebration for every non-commercial station putting good music out there for folks like you, completely free of charge.

Even as the big media funding starts to dry up, we’re still here, dug in, and committed to being the honest-to-goodness voice of this community. But to keep the mic open and the signal strong, we need help from our neighbors. Pitch in and keep 101.3 FM on the air, if you can.
